Becky Sullivan graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science and English literature from Cleveland State University in 2020. She continued her education at Cleveland State University College of Law, graduating in 2023. While in law school, Becky was a Managing Editor on Cleveland State Law Review and the Program and Development Director of the Student Public Interest Law Association.

While in law school, Becky began working at the Equality Ohio Legal Clinic, where she passionately advocated for lived and legal equality for LGBTQ+ Ohioans. She continued working there after passing the bar where she represented low-income clients in divorces, custody disputes, name changes, birth record corrections, and record sealings. She also worked on a specialized project advocating for safer conditions and access to medical care for LGTBQ+ individuals serving time in Ohio prisons. 

Becky joined Summit Legal Defenders in January of 2026.
