Attorney Kaleigh Shupp graduated from the University of Delaware with her bachelor’s degree in 2020 and received her J.D. from New York Law School in 2023.

During law school, Kaleigh was a student advocate in the Civil Rights and Disability Justice Clinic, an intern at the National Center for Law and Economic Justice and the research and administrative assistant for the Post-Conviction Innocence Clinic.

After graduating from law school, Kaleigh interned at the Federal Public Defender’s office in their Capital Habeas Unit before taking the bar in February, 2024. Prior to joining the Summit Legal Defenders, Kaleigh worked for the Ohio Justice and Policy Center doing sealing and expungements, pardons and parole work.

Kaleigh joined the Summit Legal Defenders in February, 2026.
