Brianna earned her J.D. from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During law school, she served as a Staff Writer and Associate Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal. She also worked in the Post-Conviction Clinic in conjunction with the Arizona Justice Project, researching innocence claims and representing clients at parole hearings.

Brianna began her legal career as a Deputy Public Defender with the Maricopa County Public Defender's Office in Phoenix, Arizona, where she represented clients charged with felony offenses. After relocating to Ohio, she joined Summit Legal Defenders in 2026, where her practice focuses on appellate and post-conviction matters. Through her work, Brianna strives to create systemic change within the criminal legal system while supporting the attorneys and advocates in the office through research, writing, and collaboration.
