Education: Cleveland State University, B. A., Tiffin University, M.S. and Mercyhurst University, M.S.

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Arts from Cleveland State University, where she studied Psychology. She also earned her Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Mercyhurst University and a Master of Science in Criminal Behavioral Analysis from Tiffin University.

Prior to working at Summit Legal Defenders, Rachel served for nine years in various roles at the Cuyahoga County Probate Court. She also served as an Adult Probation Officer with the Summit County Court of Common Pleas and as a Victim Advocate with the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center. Working at Summit Legal Defenders allows Rachel the ability to use her prior experience, combined with her knowledge of trauma-informed care, to aid in advocating for clients to receive a more holistic approach to criminal defense.

Rachel joined the Summit Legal Defenders office in 2026.
