Jackie has degrees in Finance and Women's Studies from The Ohio State University. Prior to attending law school, she had a career in finance, working as an options trader on the Chicago Board Options Exchange, as well as on an investment team for a financial advisor.

After being a stay-at-home parent, she returned to school to earn her J.D. from Cleveland State University College of Law.

She has been a municipal defense attorney with Summit Legal Defenders since the fall of 2024.
