Bio: Melissa Frangos earned a bachelor's degree from Kent State University in 2015 and a J.D. from The University of Akron School of Law in 2021. Prior to going to law school, Melissa interned at the Public Defender's Office in Washington, DC and became passionate about the work that public defenders do. Throughout law school, Melissa continued to focus on public interest law.

After passing the bar examination in 2021, Melissa worked as a Staff Attorney at Community Legal Aid, defending indigent clients facing eviction in Medina and Summit County. In 2023, she returned to Summit Legal Defenders to focus on Juvenile Delinquency.
